New to Running

Welcome to Kings Heath Running Club!

Are you new to running, coming back to running or feeling a bit nervous about joining a running club? We understand, and we’re here to help you every step of the way. 

Our Couch to 5K and Beyond programme is designed to support beginners and returners and help you achieve your running goals in a friendly and supportive environment. (next programme due to start on 5th July 25)

Programme Details:

  • Duration: 11 weeks to 5km and 14 weeks 6.5km (our regular Tuesday night distance)
  • Sessions: Twice a week, Tuesday evenings 18:15 and Saturday Mornings 10:15
  • Support: Experienced run leaders and mentors
  • Cost: £20 per person (Redeemable against full club membership for 2025 after the programme)

Weekly Beginners Sessions: Join us every Tuesday evening for our beginners’ sessions. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to improve, our structured sessions are tailored to your needs. Meet new friends, get fit, and enjoy the journey!

Community Events: We regularly organize social events and gatherings to help you feel part of the Kings Heath Running Club community. Come along, have fun, and make new friends!
