Cross country running is perfect for lovers of off-road running and a little bit of mud.
Kings Heath Running Club Participates in the Midland Counties Women’s League and the Birmingham Men’s League for the Cross Country season (November to February). We also run in the Midland Cross Country Relays, the County Championships, the Midland Championships and the National Championships.
As long as you are a paid-up member of the club, you can run in as many league races as you like for free.
Runners of all abilities are welcome to participate in cross country. The first four finishers (for the women) and the first six finishers (for the men) score for the team.
Cross Country competition rules mean that Cross Country race participants have to be paid-up club members, and wear the official black club kit. We offer off-road training for everyone, Cross country competitors or not, in Swanshurst Park.
