GDPR NOTICE – What we will do with your data
1) As a member of Kings Heath Running Club, you will automatically be registered as a member of England Athletics. We will provide England Athletics with your personal data which will enable your access to an online portal (called myAthletics). England Athletics will contact you to invite you to sign into and update your MyAthletics portal (which, amongst other things, allows you to control your privacy settings). 2 )some representatives of the club committee will hold your data for the following purposes:
a) OFFICIAL CLUB BUSINESS The Club secretary will use your email address to contact you with important official club communications such as invitiations to Annual General Meetings. We will keep such email contact to a minimum.
b) SOCIAL EVENTS Club Quiz and Awards Evening. The club Secretary will use your name and EA membership number to grant you free entry to these events.
c) LONDON MARATHON BALLOT The club Secretary will use your name and EA membership number to check your eligibility for the ballot.
d) CROSS COUNTRY The Cross Country Team managers will hold your EA membership number, postcode and date of birth to enter you for Cross Country Races, and determine your eligibility for contests by age category and residency.
3) All other items of your personal data such as contact phone numbers and home address are only held in the England Athletics portal once they have been submitted by the club Secretary.
4) We do not share your personal data with any third party other than England Athletics for any reason. We would only do so in the future with your permission.
